I grew up between the US and India, studied psychology and communications in three years instead of four because I was in a hurry about something. I’ve spent my career in internal communications at companies like Meta, Adyen, Pinterest, and Gusto. Which is a long way of saying I have spent more than a decade figuring out how to take complicated, often uncomfortable information and make it actually resonate for real audiences. It turns out that it’s a useful skill to bring to a book about perinatal OCD and asking women: "hey, what on earth is happening here?”.
Before Waves: Good Mom, Crazy Pregnancy, I directed, produced, and hosted a podcast called Down to Brown, which was signed by Rukus Avenue Radio on Dash Radio. I’m a geriatric millennial trying to TikTok without cringing at myself. I live in the Bay Area with my husband and our toddler, who is the reason for the book and also the reason it took as long as it did.
